The Save Our Seed Project is dedicated to facilitating a Certified Organic seed growing and distribution network in the Southeast so our growers will never need to purchase seeds from outside of our region again.  We believe that for seeds to perform well here in the Southeast, they must be selected in the Southeast.  Success of this project will mark a boon for local Certified Organic consumers, growers, and seed producers.

Furthermore, the rats showed structural damage to proliferating cells of the stomach and intestines, indicating the likelihood that cancers will set in. In an industry study of "Flavor Saver" GMO Tomatoes, 17.5% of the rats that ate the GM tomato unexpectedly died after two weeks on the diet. These industry study results were not submitted to the FDA during the products review. CLICK HERE For more information.

GMO's often are implanted into cells by shooting many tiny slivers of gold with the new DNA attached to them. An antibiotic resistant gene is often inserted along with the new gene to act as a marker. The test cells are then sprayed with the antibiotic to see if the genes have been inserted; all of the cells that don't die have the new gene. These genes have been shown to "horizontally" transfer into bacterium in the human stomach, creating antibiotic resistant bacteria. All bt implanted corn has been produced this way.
